| A MULTI-LEVEL house, which will operate on natural energy sources, is under construction at Raven Rocks. Chris Joyner and Warren Stetzel are on the ground level of the massive structure. | GENERATING ENERGY with the sun is part of the work done by residents at Raven Rocks. Residents Chris Joyner and Warren Stetzel look at the top of a photovoltaics unit which is under construction. Photovoltaics is a means of producing voltage from light. The large structure will include a 40-foot-tall pipe on top of the structure and will be covered with 13-by-6-foot panels, which will absorb the sun's rays and turn them into electrical energy. |
